This season, Wittmann will compete for the first time with the BMW M Hybrid V8 in the 2024 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the best-known international endurance racing series for sports cars with hybrid and combustion engines, which is organized by the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l&#39;Automobile). The championship consists of eight endurance races held around the world, varying in distance from six hours to 24 hours, with Le Mans being the longest and most legendary race.
